This study day at St Christopher’s Hospice is aimed at qualified therapists (aromatherapy, massage, reflexology) who have an interest in, or are new to, this specialist area. Topics covered will include: cancer and the cancer journey; current orthodox treatments; impact upon the person; ‘why me?’ and communication issues; adaptation of complementary therapies; self-care for the therapist.
