CAMLIS, the Society of Homeopaths and the Homeopathy Action Trust are collaborating to offer a series of CPD seminars for homeopathic practitioners.
“Developing Research Skills” will be presented by Gerhard Bissels and Ilana Dannheisser
March 11, London at CAMLIS from 10:00 am
During the morning, the emphasis will be on developing research skills. Librarian Gerhard Bissels will lead a practical session, demonstrating how to carry out research using the databases available through CAMLIS. Ilana Dannheisser will then outline the approaches she used when carrying out research in fulfilment of the MSc in homeopathy at the University of Central Lancashire, which explored the homeopath’s experience of the homeopathic consultation.
In the afternoon, Ilana will present an overview of the findings and recommendations arising from her research. There will also be an opportunity for discussion in small groups of participants’ particular areas of interest. Members of the Society’s Research Committee will give an update on the Committee’s recent activities and plans for the future.
Cost: £35-£60 depending on membership status
